Special Committee on Bylaws

Membership:

    • The Camp Commander shall be an ex officio member of the Committee.
    • The Chairman shall appoint any others he may deem necessary.

Actitivies: The committee is directed to conduct a thorough review and revision of the Camp Bylaws to bring them into compliance with the governing National and Department documents. The committee shall present the revised Bylaws to the Camp Brothers at the regular Camp meeting in September 2010, so as to allow their approval at the regular Camp meeting in November 2010. The committee shall also be responsible for obtaining the Department Commander’s approval of the revised Camp Bylaws. Upon obtaining this approval of the revised Camp Bylaws, the committee shall be discharged.


Special Committee on Strategic Planning

Actitivies: The committee is charged with the development of a 5-year strategic plan for the Camp, to be presented at the regular Camp meeting in May 2012 for adoption. The Camp’s strategic plan is intended to determine where our Camp is going over the next 5 years, and to support the implementation of the Department of California and Pacific’s 5-year strategic plan. As this plan will most likely have direct and/or indirect impacts on our Auxiliary Sisters, the committee shall seek the input of our Auxiliary Sisters prior to finalizing the 5-year strategic plan for presentation to the Camp for adoption. The committee shall be discharged upon the adoption of a 5-year strategic plan by the Camp.
