										Preserving the memory of the Grand Army of the Republic and our ancestors who fought to preserve the Union 1861 - 1865 The Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War is a patriotic and educational organization, similar to the Grand Army of the Republic. It was founded on November 12, 1881 and incorporated by Act of Congress August 20, 1954. The Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War is the legal heir to and representative of the Grand Army of the Republic. The William B. Keith Camp No. 12 of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War (SUVCW) was established on March 31, 2001, and serves the southern part of Nevada. The Camp is named for Pvt. William Boone Keith (1840-1920).


					AREA: The Camp serves Las Vegas and all of southern Nevada. MEETINGS: Meetings are held the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM, at VFW Post 1753, 705 N. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89101. Please contact the Camp Commander for further details. NEWSLETTER: None at this time. MEMORIAL DAY PARTICIPATION: At the graves of both Union and Confederate veterans buried in Woodland Cemetery, Las Vegas, NV. DUES: Annual dues are $30.00, with a $10.00 application fee paid the first year.
