The Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War is a patriotic and educational organization, similar to the Grand Army of the Republic. It was founded on November 12, 1881 and incorporated by Act of Congress August 20, 1954. The Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War is the legal heir to and representative of the Grand Army of the Republic.

The William B. Keith Camp No. 12 of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War (SUVCW) was established on March 31, 2001, and serves the southern part of Nevada.

The Camp is named for Pvt. William Boone Keith (1840-1920).

  • AREA: The Camp serves Las Vegas and all of southern Nevada.
     
  • MEETINGS: Meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the New York Pizza, 2400 S. Jones Blvd. (northeast corner of Jones & Sahara) at 6:30 PM. Please contact the Camp Commander for further details.

  • MEMORIAL DAY PARTICIPATION: At the graves of both Union and Confederate veterans buried in Woodland Cemetery, Las Vegas, NV.
     
  • DUES: Annual dues are $30.00, with a $10.00 application fee paid the first year.
