The Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War is a patriotic and educational organization, similar to the Grand Army of the Republic. It was founded on November 12, 1881 and incorporated by Act of Congress August 20, 1954. The Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War is the legal heir to and representative of the Grand Army of the Republic.

The Lincoln Camp No. 10 of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War (SUVCW) was established on April 1, 2000, and is named for the original Lincoln Camp of Santa Cruz, which was founded in 1898. The ultimate namesake for both Camps was Pres. Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865).

AREA: The Camp serves the California counties of Santa Cruz, Monterey and San Benito.
MEETINGS: 4th Saturday of odd-numbered months, except November.

DUES: Annual dues: $30.00, with a one-time initiation fee of $5.00
